DRIFLOON PATTERN: At Long Last, I Am Out of Hibernation

(*the only reason this is a photo post is because the text post wouldn’t let me upload a photo, for who knows what reason; this may become a text post with a real title and photo some time soon :P)

So I am first, incredibly sorry it has taken so long to post another original pattern, or anything for that matter. I have officially been accepted to college, which feels amazing! So hopefully I will be more active in the following months. I am making this, along with more penguins, jiji’s, and pokeballs for my school’s Asian Awareness Festival. I used felt detailing for the eyes—just used some crazy glue on them. Anyway, as always if you have any questions, feel free to post them or send them to me directly. Enjoy

I did it! I made all the eeveeelutions! You can see them at shutocon next weekend!

Hello! I know it’s been ages since I’ve posted anything….I’m so sorry!! But I will say that I plan to be very prolific in the crochet department in the next few weeks. Currently I’m working on a drifloon, which I wrote a pattern for a while ago, but never took pictures of before I gave it away. So the pattern will be up soon with pictures!! <3 anyone that’s been following; thank you so much for the support. I may also upload old drawings of anime characters…who knows. Thanks for being patient!!

CHOCOLATE TART!!

So this past labor day weekend, I made my first tart ever for my grandfather’s and cousin’s birthdays!! Since they love chocolate, I went with chocolate. And who doesn’t love seeing that shiny, glossy, dark surface, lying within a crisp, golden crust. And who can forget that   the chocolate serves as a perfect bed for home-made whipped cream and fresh strawberries? I only had two bites of this delectable tart, but my family loved it! I used an 11-inch tart pan since reviews said that the filling was way too much for a 9-inch pan.

Tart Shell from here: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/anne-burrell/meyer-lemon-curd-tart-recipe/index.html (I multiplied the recipe by 5/4 to accomodate the 11-inch tart pan)
